Matthew Luedke was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest. Matthew first fell in love with photography when he received his first digital camera (Canon Powershot Pro 90 IS) as a high school graduation present. Since then Matthew has had a passion for capturing moments that make others smile.

Matthew moved to Spokane, Washington with his wife Allison to attend Gonzaga University School of Law following undergraduate at the University of Washington. Matthew enjoys spending his weekends with his wife, his dog Brinkley, on the golf course, and of course taking photos.

Matthew enjoys most of all photographing the love between people. I enjoy most of all people who are willing to step outside the normal and be inventive, creative, and even a bit daring - as these make for the most compelling shots.

Leenders Wedding Photo Booth

Amber (Downing), a good friend of my wife Allison got Married and let me set up a photo booth at their reception. I had a blast interacting with the guests and I am really happy with the results which can be seen here at www.matthewluedke.com and on facebook pages all over. Jared and Kirin – Engaged

I got the great opportunity to meet up with an old friend, Kirin, in downtown Spokane for a photoshoot with her boyfriend of exactly one year - Jared. Unknown to Kirin, Jared had planned the photoshoot as the perfect time to purpose. This, of course led to a lot of emotional pictures capturing the moment, the reaction, and yes, the acceptance. What a great gift to have these moments captured. Below are some of my favorites, but I will mention another quick memory from the event. At one point, following her saying yes, Kirin turned her attention away from her ring, looked deeply into Jared’s eyes and asked, “Did you ask my father?” Priceless.
